Răducanu, Florin

Florin Răducanu a absolvit Academia de Muzică din București. În 2007 a colaborat cu Filarmonica din Sibiu pentru proiectele sale third stream: Tribute to Maria Magdalena și Mapamond Pictures. În septembrie 2009, Răducanu a fost invitat cu orchestra Florin Raducanu & Classic Troubadures Orchestra, la Festivalul International George Enescu. Premii: Premiul Fundatiei Muzza pentru Jazz – 2004, premiul pentru aranjamente de jazz al Societății Române de Radiodifuziune, premiul pentru Compoziţii simfonice de jazz al UCMR – 2007 și premiul Muzicianul anului în jazz acordat in 2009 de Fundaţia Muzza.

Florin Răducanu graduated the Music Academy in Bucharest.  In 2007, he collaborated with the Sibiu Philharmonic Orchestra, to produce a third stream project for his Tribute to Maria Magdalene and Mapamond Pictures compositions. In September 2009, Răducanu was invited to play classical jazz projects with his orchestra Florin Răducanu & Classical Troubadures Orchestra at the  festival  George Enescu International Festival. Some of his awards include the Muzza Foundation Prize for Jazz – 2004, the Prize for jazz arrangements of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Society, the prize for Jazz Symphonic Composition of the Romanian Union of Composers and Musicologists – 2007 and the Jazz musician of the year granted by Muzza Foundation in 2009.
