Luiza Zan s-a născut în 1980, la Tulcea. A făcut liceul la Piatra-Neamț şi apoi a fost admisă fără examen la Conservatorul de la Iași. În 2004 a câştigat cu trupa SlangTrofeul Cerbul de Aur”. În acelaşi an a obţinut premiul al II-lea la Festivalul de jazz din Montreux.

A cântat cu cei mai cunoscuţi artişti de jazz din România şi cu nume sonore ale jazzu-lui din Ungaria. Pe lângă activitatea concertistică, Luiza Zan a compus piese de jazz şi a scris muzică pentru piese de teatru şi pentru film.

Luiza Zan a predat jazz vocal la Conservatorul din Bucureşti, la Școala Populară de Arte din Sfântu Gheorghe şi are propriul studio de canto.


Sorin Romanescu s-a născut în București pe 1 Iunie 1968, a luat primele cursuri de jazz cu Marius Popp, apoi cu Dan Dediu la Facultatea de Compoziție din cadrul Academiei de Muzică din București. Este considerat unul dintre cei mai reprezentativi chitariști de jazz din peisajul autohton, fiind prezent pe scenele celor mai importante festivaluri de gen din țară și din străinătate.

Sorin Romanescu a colaborat cu cei mai cunoscuţi muzicieni români de jazz şi a contribuit la realizarea a peste douăzeci de albume. Deşi genul predilect este jazzul, artistul a contruibuit şi la realizarea unor albume de rock, blues, folk sau contemporary music şi a compus coloane sonore pentru filme.

 


Luiza Zan was born in 1980, in Tulcea. He graduated from Piatra-Neamţ high school and was admitted to the Iasi Conservatory without examination. In 2004 he won the “Trofeul Cerbul de Aur” with the Slang band. In the same year he won the 2nd prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival.

He sang with the most famous jazz artists in Romania and important names of the jazz scene from Hungary. Besides the concert activity, Luiza Zan composed jazz pieces and wrote music for theater and soundtracks for films.

Luiza Zan taught vocal jazz at the Bucharest Conservatory at the Folk Art School in Sfântu Gheorghe and has his own singing studio.


Sorin Romanescu was born in Bucharest on June 1, 1968, took the first jazz classes with Marius Popp and then Dan Dediu at the Composition Faculty of the Academy of Music in Bucharest. He is considered one of the most prominent jazz guitarists in the native landscape, being present on the scenes of the most important festivals in the country and abroad.

Sorin Romanescu collaborated with the most famous Romanian jazz musicians and contributed to the production of over twenty albums. Although the jazz is the predominant musical genre, the artist also made rock, blues, folk or contemporary music and composed soundtracks for films.
